This policy covers the Ong Optometry website at ongoptometry.com. How we handle your health information as a patient is covered by the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices, which you can request from the office.

Information You Send Us

The contact, appointment and prescription request forms ask for your name, phone number, email address and, depending on the form, a preferred date, a time to call and a message. We use it to reply to you and to arrange your appointment or prescription request.

Form messages are delivered to the office by email through Resend, an email delivery service. The website does not keep its own copy. Please do not send personal health information through a form. Specific patient care is addressed during your appointment or by phone.

Spam Protection

The form pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is being sent by a person. Turnstile reads basic information from your browser and device to make that check.

Website Statistics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view, the device and browser they use, and roughly where they are visiting from. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not tell us who you are. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site does not change how it works in response to a browser's Do Not Track setting.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic browser details when you load a page, which it uses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Links to Other Sites

The map links to Google Maps for directions, and the Facebook icon links to our Facebook page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow the link.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent information collected through this website. It is shared only with the services named above, for the purposes described.
